We're clearing out our sample stock- snag a steal on some real Ruggette RFC treasures!
We collect samples from production tests, photoshoots, and product kits- and once a year, we clear it out and start over with new designs. Usually, we bring them to an in-person pop up sale, but this year, we want to try something new and offer them online for our whole team to have a crack at, and not just the lucky ones who can come see us in person!
Some of these items have been briefly tried on for photoshoots, or as a sizing sample. Some of them were a display item at a live event. Some of them were just production samples that were never worn, just made as a production proof, and has been sat in the sample room since then. Whatever their source, they're all new products that deserve good homes- but might have an odd mark or scuff somewhere from the photoshoot, or from sitting in storage! Please be aware when purchasing from this collection that whilst your item may come with a small cosmetic mark, it's been checked over for quality control, and any scuffs present have been deemed to be both very minor, and likely to come out in the wash. Any questions, drop us a message at coach@ruggetterfc.com!
Do you know your women's rugby history? Show off your knowledge with our vintage locations range!
In 1968, the first women’s rugby match (that was also documented) occurred in Toulouse, but it took The Federation Francaise de Rugby (French Rugby Federation, FFR), France’s national governing body, 20 years to fully integrate women’s rugby. Thus, it was necessary for women’s rugby teams to form a stand-alone association that valued their existence.
In 1970, a handful of French teams assembled and decided it was time to form the Association Francaise de Rugby Feminin (French Women’s Rugby Association, AFRF). The first official women’s rugby union governing body had formed and called Toulouse its home. The association became a vehicle for significant gains and inspiration around the world.
